My research focuses on leveraging large-scale digital records for evidence-based policymaking at the confluence of machine learning, network science, gamification, agent systems and urban economics.
Previously, I have also studied the usage of robotics as a tool for programming learning.
During my Ph.D. I researched Network Data Science applied to the transportation sector, at IST, University of Lisbon, INESC and LNEC. PhD supervision by Prof. Rui Henriques, PhD and Prof. Francisco C. Santos, PhD .
MSc supervised by Prof. Rui Henriques, PhD and Dr. Elisabete Arsenio, PhD .
